So what is the deal with colds, croup, congestion and coughs this year? I feel like as soon as one of the members of my household gets all mended a few days later another one comes down with some sort of ill symptoms. Nikia woke up yesterday barely able to breath because she was extremely congested. All she could manage to do was squeek out a croupy cough. I was already feeling lousy the night before as I could feel a sore throat and the body aches coming on. So Nikia and I spent the day together being lazy and laying in bed watching cartoons and reading books. It's hard to build up an immune system when it's right back in the same household within a few days. I have bought more medicine this winter than I ever remember doing before.

Nikia is back in school today and feeling much better. I'm feeling better too. I'm praying this is the last of the winter colds and sick days.

Then end of winter often seems to bring out many of the worst colds.

We have all been healthy, but have been hibernating for quite some time now....trying to avoid it all.

Spring HAS to be on it's way.

I have been fighting a "cold" for about 3 weeks now.....grrrr!

At least it isn't influenza or step throat....both of those are going around too!

I am sorry you guys have been sick. I hope you continue to heal, and nothing new comes along. Most of us have been well, other than a cold or a quick stomach bug. But Abi has been fighting something since Christmas time. We just found out this week that she has strep pneumonia.
We are praying that has been her problem all along and that the antibiotic will clear it up.

I hope that you and yours will soon get rid of the YUCK. It has gone around my family, but I have so far missed it. I tribute that to taking my Ester-C all year long.
My youngest son and his family have been battling it for quite some time.It seems that when is done with it another comes down. He said that they all had it and then it seems it hit again but in a different form.
Do take care.

I pray your family stays healthy after this bout of illness.

Mark is home sick with Influenza B and walking pneumonia and Dawson came home sick from school today.

I find it best to stock up on all the cold and flu meds in the early fall. Because if you don't, you can bet that's when someone is going to get sick. Hope you're all well soon!
