Happy 4th of July!!
I hope you all have a great week and weekend. Enjoy some fireworks, take in a parade, catch a ballgame, have a picnic, splash in some water and enjoy time with family and friends. We'll be doing these things and a little more.
There's something about being able to step outside for no reason at all except just to take it all in - without neighbors wondering "what is she doing now."

My mom is visiting, so we're going to fire up the grill, kick back and enjoy eachother's company.

Just Mom ~ Friday: Nikia ended up spending the night at my sisters...so I went shopping by myself. Saturday: Kale got back from camping and so the kids and I rented a movie (happy feet) and watched it. Nothing too exciting!!

I miss you Amy! I was just thinking the other day about when we first began blogging together. One of your first posts that I read was the one with your mom.
I listen to a song by Nora Jones about a little girl all alone and I always think of Nikia when I hear the words. Hope your summer is going well.
