Pheasant hunting season opens tomorrow! I have to be honest with you though - if this weather doesn't start shaping up, I'm not leaving the house! I'll wait till we're combining corn and stand at the end of the field and wait for my colorful feathered victim to fly over.

Happy hunting to you! Its too hot here - its archery season, and T didn't go out the first weekend we went to the cabin because it was so warm. We ended up going back up last weekend and he went out and didn't see anything - but we did back at the cabin. A doe walked up and was eating some corn we had laid out to feed them.
I'm not sure if T is going pheasant hunting or not - but I wish you good luck.
He will go a few days for bear and buck in rifle season - but that is usually all. What all do you typically hunt for? Sorry this got so long! (I tend to ramble!)
Oh, you should go anyway. Sounds like a fun way to let go of any frustration. (Fun for you, not the pheasant).
Good Luck! It has started cooling off here as well! I do believe Fall is here! I normally bow hunt, but this year I have not had the time :( We have been hog hunting though, that is manadaotry around here, they destory everything and breed faster than cats!!

Leigh Anne ~ T goes bear hunting? Scary!! I usually hunt deer and pheasants but I have gone goose and duck hunting before too. Of course I love to take out a few gophers, rabbits, squirrels, and black birds every year also. I just love to shoot things I guess. :)
oh amy, i just had to come back. you so make me laugh. and you are definitly the kind of girl that i would want on my side...i need a heavy (as in strong arm) in my life. do you want to back me up?
Our whole crew is coming back to hunt and it is going to be a muddy mess. We haven't gotten to open up any fields with all the rain either so it may be hard to get the birds up!
I get to sit at volleyball tomorrow anyway.

I don't think any of them have ever seen a bear to even shoot - just an excuse to get away to the woods, in my opinion!! :D
