Why is it that when my husband is out of town I just can't come up with anything fun to do? Kale is going camping with the boys and Trevor is leaving for a fishing tournament, so Nikia and I are going to be home by ourselves.
I want to do something fun, but what???
Girls night out - I can be ready in 10 minutes.
Shopping - maybe.
Pool - possibility.
Movie - perhaps.
Just sit at home - probably.
I have such a boring life!!!

you aren't the only one with a "boring" life.
i can't believe that i just heard a woman who has been out camping with only a 'biffy' for bodily relief, been coaching softball, playing softball and being socked in the chops, pulling calfs, watching a ceasearn birth on a cow, and scopping poop all in the short time i've been reading here could possibly call her life BORING.... seriously girl, you'd go INSANE with my 'activities':-)
enjoy your time. it sounds like lots of you northerns will be husband-less...teresa, cindy, (with royal rangers)- maybe a girls night with the daughters would be in order.

I would opt for the pool! Its suppossed to be hot this weekend and that would feel really good! Hey, are you guys going to be around July 14th? Brooklyn wants to invite Nikia to her b-day party at the pool. Its a Sat. afternoon and I will send out invitations for a reminder this weekend but just thought I would check!

I hear ya. I have really been thinking about fun things we can do on the weekends. I say you girls should head to the pool and enjoy the nice weather!!

I just spent 2 days with no kids (the girls are all at camp). This is a rarity!
Your life is your normal - in which you find boring. My life is my normal - in which I find boring. However, if you were to chase 3 kids (age 5, 2 and 7 mo) around while I chased cows - we'd probably rather stay with our 'normal'. Confusing? Amen. :)

I LOVE when the husband goes away!! I have a list a mile long of stuff to do!!! It usually involves Starbucks, shopping & movies!

My life sounds the same....I would probably just sit home too.
