It's The Thought That Counts!

Yesterday my little princess decided to make me breakfast. I usually never eat breakfast so this was indeed a sweet treat. Just how much of a SWEET treat you ask...........

I'm not sure if she dropped the jelly jar on the toast or if she just thought I liked a lot of jelly with a little toast. Either way, she made my morning sweet.

Mmmmm....That looks yummy. I look forward to the day when my child starts making me breakfast -- preferably breakfast in bed.

What a sweetie! She can come stay at our house anytime and teach Brooklyn how to get her own breakfast!!!

i know that you are such a nice mom that you probably made no faces, no nose curling, or scraping off of the excess, or no mention of how you detest grape jelly...

i am so glad that my kids haven't thought of this particular way to show mommy their love. i do not like to eat breakfast, so whip me up a microwaved hot pocket or hot dog and i'd be all over that.

What a special surprise! This is one for the scrapbook!
(I would probably not have been able to control the urge to run to the kitchen to see what the counter looked like after the masterpiece!) :)

Bless her little heart. My girls would have sat right there and waited for me to choke the whole thing down, too.
Kinda looks like a blood clot right there in the middle, huh?!
Yummy!

I take it her pink trimmed shirt is not a hand-me-down from Kale?!?

Wonderful Wednesday to all!

So the question is did you eat it?

We have a b-day tradition that on your b-day you get served your favorite breakfast in bed. I usually get coffee, water and cereal with milk. I guess the coffee part is the "favorite" part. :-)

Very sweet!!!

Ginger--I was thinking the same thing about the blood clot but didn't want to say it!!! That is funny we thought the same thing!

Oh my goodness. Did you end up eating all that jelly? The thought of all that squishing in my teeth makes me gag a little. Wonderful sweet thought though.

Aww, she's so sweet, it is the thought that counts, and you can tell she just loves her mom to pieces:)

I wasn't the BEST Mom... I scraped off the excess jelly. I just couldn't force myself to eat the blood clot (good one Ginger) Ha!! Ha!!!
