April Blizzard

I took these pictures of my yard this morning. There is probably around 6 inches and there is supposed to be more on the way. Last night I was on my way home from town and I couldn't go faster than 35 mph or the slush would grab and take me toward the ditch. I live 25 miles from town - it was a long, white-knuckle, ride home.

Oh Amy I am so sorry that your weather is like it is! The pictures are very pretty but I guess you could say that it is a true case of BAD TIMING!!! Seeing what you've got...well I'm gonna try real hard not to complain any more today!

Spring will come. Great pictures though. I love snow, but I am ready for spring here in Ohio as well.

I refuse to take any more pictures of the snow at my house! It has been snowing since yesterday morning. UGH! I am beginning to think Mark needs to transfer in his job to someplace warm! Hey, Arizona sounds wonderful right now!!!

Your pictures are VERY PRETTY though! Glad you made it home safe!

Beautiful photos, Amy. Freshly fallen snow is my favorite.

Spring and summer will arrive.

It is beautiful but I am sure you are ready for some warm weather. Just don't plan a visit here anytime soon as we are embarking on our winter months. :-)

I'm tired of snow, too- it's APRIL!! I'm ready to wear shorts and tank tops and pack all the winter stuff away.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. :)

I was getting ready to post some spring pictures just for you and all of your winter weather hit us here in Michigan. It is just ugly outside. I'm posting my winter gripe for you instead cuz I feel just like you do. It isn't even pretty here. It's awful!

WOW!!! I know you are so ready for spring, but I still think a snow covered ground is beautiful. I'm glad you got home from town safe and sound:)

If it makes you feel better, it could be worse. I remember a blizzard on Prom one year (April 26). I bet you feel better now huh--NOT!

Even though it is April, the snow was beautiful. I am still glad to see it is melting though. I am ready for jet ski season!!!
