It's A Good Day!

I woke up this morning to send the kids off to school and to send my husband off for a guys (8 guys to be exact) weekend of snomobiling in the Hills. I promptly burried the phone under the pillows and went right back to bed. I woke up at 12:00. Man, it felt so good to sleep in. It's a beautiful day of flurries falling and such a calmness in the house. I love days like this. I know there are things I should be doing but I'm not going to do them today. It's just a day of nothing. It's a good day.

Wow! How wonderful! I used to be able to sleep in til 12 when I was in HS, but haven't done it since and probably won't again for a long time with a 4.5 year old, 2 year old and 2 month old. Sleeping in til 8 is a luxury though!!

Everyone needs a day just like this every once in awhile. Hope you enjoyed to the max!

Jealousy is a sin...right? Well so is being slothful so I can be jealous if I want:-)

I haven't known that kind of sleep in over six years, and no I am NOT exaggerating.

My day will come.

I'm glad you had a good day. Although I would have to say that I am jealous too! I can only imagine that kind of sleep, but that day will come for me too. Enjoy your weekend!

I love the change on your sidebar! By the way, do you people in SD get a discount for all the coffee you drink? Haha! I think there must be a major addiction out there! No really, my daughter Jenna loves it too. I used to, but for some weird reason I don't crave it anymore. Weird, huh?
I'm still cracking up at the story about the night on the potty with the trail to the toilet :)

Good for you. Nothing like a little peace and quiet. I don't know if I could sleep in that late though.

Sounds like you had a very good day. My husband took our son out of the house for four hours last night, which meant I had a leisurely shower and time to read. It was a very good evening for me.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. It's always fun to "meet" someone new.

Hang onto the memory of that good day, because the whirlwind of kids and responsibilities can make it fade away! Glad you had a break.
