I love the first Spring rain. It's so refreshing and cleansing. Ever notice how the new green grass spikes show up almost immediately? I love that! I saw some of my flower bulbs are beginning to poke through too. It puts a smile on my face; one that hasn't been there for quite some time. It's going to be a beautiful day today. I heard it could reach into the 70's. Nope, I won't be able to keep myself inside today either. By the way, did I mention I cheated the other day. I went out to do chores and ended up spending 2 hours outside. Sooooo, I still have plenty of cleaning to do. I did, however, manage to check some things off my list of spring cleaning. It's suppose to rain some more this week so those days I'll tackle some more of the LIST (it's almost starting to sound like a bad four letter word to me).
I hope you all have a wonderful Spring day and are able to get outside for some refreshing sunshine!!

Hi Amy
are those daisies in YOUR field?? They are so pretty..I love daisies...You sound like me escaping to the outdoors! :))
Yeah I don't make lists because I've watched my hubby write himself a list pretty much every Saturday morning for the last 16 years and then spend all day stressing about all the things on his list that he isn't going to be able to finish! Too much stress! But he HAS really slowed down on the list making in the last year or so...And now I'm starting to think that I need to make myself some lists. I guess it is just goal setting... hmmm maybe I'm a little weak in that area...(:
Anyway my post I did last night is about spring too... I think we're just really glad to see it this year! Well take care.

Glad you're getting signs of the lovely Spring coming after the really hard winter you guys had. You'll get the list done in time I bet. Enjoy the outdoors.

You have a wonderful spring day too.

I just love this weather.
We will be spending most of our day outdoors too. Megan and I already went for one walk today.
Megan wants to have a picnic out on the deck again for lunch. So we will.

I love the picture of the daisies. It makes me think of spring.

I'm actually wearing shorts today! It feels great to have the sun beating down! (of course I had to apply sunless tanning lotion to my winter white legs before putting the shorts on..I didn't want to blind everyone that I came in contact with!)

I am STUCK indoors today sitting behind my desk with nylons on. How lame is that! What I wouldn't give to be able to be home today doing nothing but playing with my kids outside!

Glad to hear your smile is back. You're such a pretty woman; I'd hate for you to ruin it with a frown. ;)

I want to go for a walk so badly with Diego after reading your entry but the weather here in Katy, Texas has been very cloudy, HIGH winds and is about to rain very hard! I hope to enjoy the spring weather very soon!

Yesterday wasn't nice, but today is beautiful, maybe your weather finally reached us on the east coast!!

But, if it is rainy, I just snuggle up with my new hat and picture of two cute guys! he he

We had 81 degrees here yesterday! Unbelievable! We really need the rain. I have bulbs popping up everywhere - now do I sit out there all night and protect them from the deer and rabbits? I have had good luck with shaved soap and the deer spray. Also having a dog on each of the three sides of our property helps a bit even tho they are contained within their invisible fences.
